The greatest of all herbs is a mustard seed. It has the power and potential to be so great that the birds of the air nest in it. But why a mustard seed instead of an acorn where the oak tree becomes so huge? Well, I am not sure there are oak trees in Galilee. Maybe. I don't know. But really, from the tiniest of seeds even from that of a single sperm can grow something very mighty. So, the mustard seed is just a metaphor Jesus used to explain life. When a person has left only his or her own breath and God gives back life to him or her, something becomes of it. Sometimes God has to make us feel as insignificant in life as a mustard seed. I won't say that Jesus was talking about me personally, but there are many who read the Bible and think that Jesus was talking about them specifically. There is nothing wrong with this thinking, but the fact is, that Jesus didn't think locally. He spoke so people locally could understand Him, but His message is for the world.
I tried to locate the verse in the New Testament where Jesus says that the root of money is evil or that the root of evil is money, but I couldn't find the verse. I looked up both "evil" and "money" in the exhaustive concordance but the verse doesn't appear in the concordance. Anyway, whether Jesus said this or not doesn't really matter for the evil that people do is often because of money. I am convinced that TV ‘s and computers are the same and that they are the "Beast" from the book of Revelations. I asked the Angels if I have to concern myself with the Anti-Christ and they said I wouldn't have to worry about "him." I didn't ask them to explain to me why, but I figured that like most things they told me, in time I would understand what they were saying to me. I believe I won't have to worry about "him" because he isn't in the world, but that he either lived as a person like Hitler, or that the Anti-Christ really is someone who has taken a human life.
At the entrance of most stores in NYC, there is a man who is paid to stand at the door and make sure that people don't walk off with anything. I guess in a way, the Mob would have gone to the shopkeepers telling them that they had to "pay for protection." So, for a long time, it was just about impossible to set up a business in NYC without having to pay the Mob to protect your store. But now, the stores pay someone on their own payroll to "protect" the store and its own interests they do so. It's just that now, these people who are always men, get paid by the stores and pay taxes on what they are paid to protect by the stores. I am friendly with all these guys greeting them as I enter and leave the stores. And some stores don't have them, but the ones that do are usually chain stores. But some mom and pop stores have them too.
So, I was thinking today about what money does to people. In fact, people will kill for money. There is only one Law of God and that Law is human life. All other laws simply pertain to how humans are to relate to each other and to settle differences in a court of law. Laws almost always regulate how commerce is conducted and how taxes are collected and to be paid. Ethics then is simply a matter of how people relate to people. I would say that the one arching law is the Law of Life and that under this Law are all laws pertaining to life and living. I am not going to debate about whether or not God created the world in six days or 4 billion years. That doesn't matter to me. What matters to me is that God is the Creator. Because He creates life, only God can take a life. And that is where the Church has fallen short in its teaching, believing that in many cases God authorizes the taking of human life according to laws. And this is where our thinking has failed us. God will NEVER authorize ANY person to take a human life for ANY REASON.
Now, this would be the theology of "Brother Ralphie." But I don't want to just morph into Brother Ralphie. I would say it's just a nickname I have given to myself. And if God were to make me a wealthy man, I wouldn't be foolish with my wealth. It would serve only ONE purpose. There is a Message I have for anyone who will hear me that has been given to me by the Angels. I was once like a mustard seed where all I had in me was just the tiniest breath of life because I didn't want to live any further. And after some almost eighteen years since the Angels God has not only given me life, but also given me purpose. I don't care if I am rich or poor. I don't care if I am loved or hated. In fact, the Angels mean more to me than anything else in the world. And nothing could buy my Angels from me. I can't be bought for ANY price. But instead of money being evil, I would transform it into using it for the spread of the Message of the Angels. That Message includes the value of human life. That Message includes the fact that the Messiah is near. It includes how God will judge the world when the Messiah comes. It might be that God only wants me to reach those closest to me. But it doesn't matter whether the message is for a few or for the world. If the Message is for the world then God will give me the means to do it. And if the Message is for a few, then I have done more for the Message than the Angels could have asked of me otherwise.
It's just that when people want money, they are selfish enough not to value human life in the process of making it. If you think of the evil in this world, it is surrounded by money. But if you think of the good that happens in this world, I would say that money is a big part of that too, but that instead of wars being fought for Peace, I would say that Peace prevents warfare. We have to change our thinking about taking human life and why we do. There is no solution to the warfare in the Middle East because the religions are founded on the basis that God approves of the taking of human life, when in fact; nothing is more disapproving to God than the taking of human life. He would rather people do most anything else than take a human life for any reason. Where there is money involved there is no Peace, because money can't buy Peace. In fact, money can't buy anything that is of God. People have to be taught that the only way to Peace is to believe that God won't forgive ANYONE for ever taking a human life, regardless of reason. I have lived long enough to say that I have just about seen it all. And It's not because of love that people kill, but because of lusts. And lusts can be bought just like most anything else. The only things that don't have a price tag are from God Himself and He won't ask for money, but only our time. It's just that He knows that in this world nothing is of value unless there is money attached to it. So, there is value in Peace and Love, but the values are priceless. One can't put a price tag on Peace and Love.
So, if I WERE to be wealthy, the money would only serve to further the teachings of the Angels. And really, the teachings of the Angels are teachings about the value of EVERY human life. God won't allow anyone into heaven that has taken a human life. And when does life begin? At the very instant it is created. From that point forward God owns every human life. But this isn't how the Church, societies, and politicians think. It's not how governments of any kind feel they can survive if they think this way. I am simply teaching a new way of thinking claiming this “new” way of thinking is from God Himself. I can share it with a few, or I can spread the Message to the world. How I do it is up to God. All I have to do is breathe and in that context I am doing the perfect will of God. I have seen just about every reason as to why anyone would take a human life. I have learned that the Anti-Christ is ANYONE who has taken a human life. I think that Hitler was the true Anti-Christ. And that is why we can see his image on TV's and computer screens. And that is why I think that TV's and computers ARE the Beast. But the fact is that it's human life that God values over anything else in the world. Where there is less chaos there is less killing. Laws simply reduce the chaos, but they can't prevent it. And so, I can both sit here on my butt and write until my fingers fall off, or I can do other things to spread the Message of the Angels. Because there is much in the world I do NOT know, I have to believe there is more for me to do than what I am doing. But since all I have to do is breathe, I believe God is preparing me for the work that is ahead of me. I can do it rich or poor and I can do it isolated or in crowds. The fact is that I have been doing it for almost eighteen years and I will continue to do it until the Messiah comes.
