Let me say this about Harold Camping: At least he has people thinking. Now, I could say the same thing about the Left Behind series of books that at least dramatized what some feel is a possibility. So, eschatology, as it is called in Christendom has its place in the thinking of Christians. The idea behind this thinking is that God at some point in time will remove all believers from this world. This is what the rapture would do. Some people think the world is at a place in history when believers will be taken up or snatched up by God and removed from this world. Then for seven years, those left behind will have to basically fend for themselves. During this time, there will come one who is of Satan or Satan incarnate and will bring peace to the world for three and a half years. Then this Satanic figure will then become evil and wars will break out and there will be utter chaos for another three and a half years at the end of which the Messiah will come and defeat Satan and his armies and will be cast into the pit to be sealed forever. At the end of the thousand-year reign of peace by the Messiah, Satan will be loosed only for a short period of time for him to deceive all those he will be able to deceive. Then he will be cast into the pit forever and the pit will be sealed.
Now, as the Left Behind series was able to make people think, Harold Camping has essentially done the same thing. We are constantly reminded that it seems to many that we are in the later stages of some kind of cataclysmic event whether it is the rapture or the Tribulation Period. I am not sure it is my place to say that Camping and the others have it all wrong. I do believe we are in the latter days, but as I have said before, there is NOT going to be anything like the rapture that is going to occur. My Angels told me in November of 1993 that we are in the Period of the Great Tribulation. They didn’t tell me when it began only that we have been in it at least since then.
So, I am going to give my scenario on what is going to happen. I will NOT set any dates, but if anyone wants to believe that the Mayan calendar has something to do with a cataclysmic event of some kind then of course we will know by December 21, 2012 and if we wake up on Christmas morning on December 25 to open our presents then we will know that all is well with the world. However, I have only one thing to say: I believe the coming of the Messiah is near and that we are towards the end of the Great Tribulation Period. However, I am not going to say that the Mayan calendar has anything to do with the coming of the Messiah because there is simply no way of knowing. But I could say that it’s something that I feel. I watch the world on a daily basis. I read what people are writing and I listen to the daily news. I read newspapers from all over the world and I am simply “listening.” And what I am “hearing” is that God is preparing the world for the coming of the Messiah.
I guess most anyone will ask me what will happen when the Messiah comes if indeed there is no such thing as the Rapture and we are in the Tribulation Period already. Well, I will tell anyone who will hear anything I have to say. When the Messiah comes, He will be announced beforehand to the world. Satan and his army will fight the Messiah and the heavenly hosts. Satan and his army will lose that battle and will be cast into the pit of hell. Satan’s army will be comprised of those who have all taken a human life. The only sin Jesus didn’t die for was the sin of murder. All those who have committed suicide up to that point won’t be on this earth anyway. So, the fact is that the Messiah and His heavenly hosts will defeat Satan and ALL murderers and then and only then will Jesus then set up His one thousand year reign of Peace on this earth. Yes, Satan will be loosed for a short period of time at the end of the thousand year period and then he will be cast into the pit and be sealed forever and ever with his army and then the old heaven and earth will be destroyed. Then God will create a new heaven and earth that will exist for ALL eternity.
