If I were to ask the question as to how anyone becomes “lost” I am not sure this blog would be read at all. How one becomes saved is simple: By virtue of our birth we are born saved. Now, I know about the thinking of some in regard to the seed of Adam and that we are automatically born depraved human beings in need of salvation, but the fact is this isn’t true. We are ALL born saved.
So, if that is the case, how then do we lose our salvation? By taking a human life we lose our salvation. Does it matter HOW one takes a human life? I would say that one loses his or her salvation if he or she takes a human life for ANY REASON. THIS is the ONLY way to lose one’s salvation that one is given by God at his or her birth. Then we ask as to the significance of living in a world of sin. Actually, I will say this about what sin is: Sin is disobedience to laws and to this we are ALL guilty. But obedience to ANY law of any kind does NOT save us. The fact is that the teaching of the Church is that we are born without salvation because we are inheritors of the seed of Adam who was guilty before God. Therefore, we are all born depraved and that everyone is in need of salvation. And this is where guilt plays an important part in the teaching of ANY church because we are all in need of salvation and are lost without it. But wouldn’t it make more sense to say we are saved at the time we are born and that we lose our salvation by taking a human life?
If we are born as depraved individuals because of the seed of Adam, how much guilt then do we have to have in order to be saved? Jesus said that His yoke was easy and His burden was light. Why did He say this? He said this because He knew what I am writing here. God doesn’t demand anything of anyone for salvation except for one thing: We have to believe in the sanctity of human life. So, I would suggest that life begins at the very instant of conception and from that moment on, EVERY life belongs to God. ANYONE who takes a human life from that point forward loses his or her salvation regardless of ANY reason why he or she took that life.
I have spoken to a number of people who for whatever reason have taken a human life and they all tell me the same thing: Something happens to a person when he or she takes a human life. Jesus likened salvation to a lamp or a light within us and once that light within us is extinguished it goes out never to be lit ever again. In Mark 4:13, Jesus says to His disciples that ALL His parables say the same thing. He asked them now they can understand ALL the parables if they don’t understand the parable of the seed and the farmer. It’s so incredibly simple. At any point in time anyone is capable to taking a human life. And once another takes a human life, one loses his or her salvation never to have it back ever again. And this is the meaning of ALL the parables of Jesus.
So, I am suggesting something radical here by saying that we are ALL born saved. What we each do with our own salvation is up to each and every one of us. But the proclamation of salvation by the Church or anyone else is redundant. We ARE already saved. We don’t need guilt in order to become saved, because we are saved already. And we don’t need to live with fear, anger, or hatred, because we accept ALL of God’s people as being saved already. And if we believe that heaven is a place for which we would all be falling all over ourselves trying to get into, why then do we need to fear death?
I can’t really tell any more people the things the Angels told me than I have already told, but the fact is that I have nothing to fear. I don’t fear God. In fact, I would say that Satan is my mortal enemy unto death and that I don’t like to see Satan win. If I believe life begins at the very instant of conception, then of course, there are many people who have taken a human life who will believe that it’s obedience to laws that save us. This IS Satan’s lie. And it’s Satan’s lie to make us believe just how depraved we are, when in fact, we need to be celebrating life with those who celebrate life with us. Jesus said that He is the way, the LIFE, and the truth and that no one comes to the Father except by Him. He died for EVERY single sin known to the human race EXCEPT for the sins of murder and suicide. There will be those who won’t believe me, but the fact is, I KNOW exactly who I am to God and nothing can change this, not even unbelief in what I have just written here. Peace.
