Dennis:
I guess I can say that when I first heard the Angels talk about Jesus dying for EVERY sin except for the sins of murder and suicide, I knew then what I know now. NO one would accept this. And I was right. I had to learn what the Angels were saying to me. And it didn’t come to me over night. It took me about 18 years to fully understand. But the concept is simple. God is the Author of ALL human life and that while some wrestle with the idea of when life begins, the fact is that no one wants to call anyone else a murderer and so, as a society we tip-toe around the idea about when life begins so that we don’t alienate people. It’s not politically correct to say that life begins at the VERY instant of conception, but then if we say that, we have to ask as to who is responsible for that life. Actually, the law in Mississippi that failed was about as close to anything I have heard anyone say, but it singled out the wrong people. And that is why it failed. A rapist IS responsible if a woman conceives as a result of rape, but no one is willing to say that. So, the law put the onus on the mother, which is the correct thing to do, but then EVERY woman who has HAD an abortion then is guilty too. And that is something that voters just couldn’t accept. What I have to say about life beginning at the moment of conception is NOT politically correct. Why? I make women who have had abortions murderers and they can’t be forgiven if they have had abortions. But I do make exception for rape saying that rapists are guilty for being rapists if a woman conceives. I think that is pretty simple, but it doesn’t solve the problem according to law. Well, THAT is the problem. There IS NO law of any kind that is going to solve the problem; because it’s not an issue of law. It’s not even an issue of morality. God doesn’t care about sexual sins. The LAW does. And there just isn’t any formula to satisfy EVERYONE.
So, I say that EVERY life that is conceived at the moment of conception is saved. You, as a Catholic, can’t accept this teaching. Why? It’s just not politically correct in the history of the Church. It’s really only recently that we, as a society, have had to ask when life begins. You would accept that life begins at the instant of conception, but then your Church would reject the notion that that life is saved. We are born depraved and in sin. There. This is what Christianity teaches. So, all of our lives we work in order to avoid hell. And I am saying that the ONLY way to avoid hell is simply to NEVER take a human life. Why? EVERY human life is sacred from the instant of conception and that only God can take a human life. There. Jesus said that all we need to do is treat others, as we would expect others to treat us. Is that so complicated? I don’t think so. If I myself am sacred to God, then EVERYONE else is too. But that isn’t how we think. Some people are depraved and are destined for hell. Some people live in a shady area where they might make it into heaven or maybe not. And we don’t know who is saved and who isn’t so there are all kinds of “salvation” insurance that is available to anyone. But I would say that religion is so complex that not even the most religious of all scholars can understand it. And I am saying that it’s NOT complicated at all. It’s very simple. All we have to do is believe that God is the Creator and ALL human life is sacred from the moment of conception to the end of life; and only God can take a human life. Anyone who does so loses his or her salvation for ALL eternity never able to get it back. That’s it in a nutshell. Why is that so complex? I don’t think it’s difficult to understand. But I will tell you why people cannot understand it. There is NOTHING about laws of ANY kind except for the Law of Human Life. God doesn’t care about laws. He only cares that we are able to live with what we do or don’t do. We can’t allow guilt to cause us to commit suicide. But guess what? The law can cause people enough guilt they take their own lives. Suicide is nothing more than self-imposed guilt that some people can’t live with. Guilt is a real killer. And if some people think that others are guilty of breaking laws, then some people believe that the LAW will allow them to take a human life even if they themselves judge according to law. There is nothing in what I say that has anything to do with law, morality, or anything else for that matter. The lesson is that we obey laws because breaking laws makes us guilty, but only to each other and NOT in the eyes of God. But the law imposes guilt and it’s guilt that prevents chaos.
So, I would say that a new cult or religion is really about money. It’s where one gets the finances to propagandize for what one believes. This is why I have chosen what I have as an institute. It’s not a ministry or evangelical association or anything else. And I don’t believe that what I have is anything new. It’s Universalism with a twist. The twist is that there ARE sins God will NOT forgive. And because of what I believe about human life makes me closer to being a Buddhist. However, because of the nature of God and Jesus in my thinking and the sanctity of human life, I really AM closest to being a Catholic. But I don’t believe in exclusivity. EVERYONE is saved and ANYONE may worship God as he or she pleases. But there is NOTHING anyone has to do in order to be saved. This is why I am NOT a cult or a new religion. I don’t ask anything of anyone, except to NOT take a human life. Some will say then that God has to make exceptions. I say that maybe He will, but what makes me different from anyone else is that I add this caveat: I don’t think so. That is what makes what I have different from anything else, but is what I believe is closest to what Jesus is saying in the Four Gospels. If we can understand this, there isn’t much in the entire Bible we can’t understand. But is it just too simple? I think most everyone would agree that it is. But I think it’s what Jesus taught and what the Early Church understood. They couldn’t talk about it out of the risk of being crucified for being people of Peace. I would say I would have the same fear, except the Angels told me something I won’t forget. No one will harm me. Peace,
Brother Ralphie for The Angels of Life Institute
