Whether
rich or poor, Jesus would ask you only one question: Can you live your life without doing harm to either yourself
or to others? God doesn’t care
what car you drive. God doesn’t
care about the value of your home.
In fact, God doesn’t care if you are homeless or own five homes or even
more. God doesn’t care if you are
so poor you don’t pay any taxes or you have offshore holding accounts for your
tax shelters. God simply doesn’t
care about the financial status of anyone. He cares whether you can live with or without as long as you
do no harm to others. This IS the
bottom line for life and living.
Now,
doing harm simply means whether one has to murder to keep wealth or murder in
order to achieve wealth. Then on
the flip side, God doesn’t want us to commit suicide if we are poor or commit
suicide if we are wealthy. So, we
can’t murder to achieve or keep wealth and we can’t commit suicide if we can’t
live with either what we have or don’t have. Murder and suicide are never options for life and living. Otherwise, we can be as wealthy as we
wish or live in as much poverty as we desire. Once we realize that EVERYONE is equal in the eyes of God
regardless of financial status in life, we realize that together we are ALL in
the same boat in life. But the
problem is that whether rich or poor, people just don’t think this way. The poor will say they are entitled to
murder the “man,” and the rich feel they have to murder to keep what they have. As long as most people believe they
have a right to murder, there won’t be Peace in the world. This means there won’t be Peace in the
world until the Messiah comes and in my thinking that won’t be soon
enough. Peace. Brother Ralphie for The Angels of Life
