I
would say that generally speaking, people are NOT going to like my answer as to
why this tragedy in Aurora, CO occurred.
To say that NOTHING in life is more precious to God than human life is
to say that God NEVER allows for the taking of human life for ANY reason. He might feel justified to
himself. Isn’t that ALL that
matters when ANY person takes a human life? Isn’t it always about being justified for doing so? Is there EVER justification for taking
human life? And again, many won’t
like my answer, bur the answer is “no.”
No person is EVER justified by God for EVER taking human life. But humans will justify what other
humans have done.
This
is no different from George Zimmerman killing Treyvon Martin. And then to say this is no different
from anyone killing in warfare is just wrong. Well, you know what?
I won’t be changing what I have been saying to justify ANYONE for taking
human life for ANY reason. No one
is justified for having done so regardless of his or her own reason, or the
reason of society. No war is EVER
justified, whether that war is personal or social. It doesn’t matter.
God does NOT allow ANYONE to take a human life for ANY reason. But this is not how the world
thinks. So, the world is going to
seek answers to questions that can’t be answered, because the world justifies
certain reasons for taking human life.
This event WAS NOT a reason for anyone to take a human life. Anyone can justify his or her own self
for taking a human life even if he or she is the only person to believe he or
she is justified. This is where
justification of ANY kind fails us.
I
will NOT justify ANYONE for ANY reason to take a human life. And for me, life begins at the VERY
instant of creation of life and ONLY God can take a human life. We can justify others or ourselves as
much as we wish, but the bottom line is that God will not. Once one has taken a human life
REGARDLESS of REASON one has lost his or her salvation for all eternity. There will be those who won’t like this
answer. Sorry, but it’s the right
one, because it’s the ONLY one. As
for the families of the victims, I wish I could say to them what I say to
myself when events like this have occurred. If we knew what heaven was like, we would be falling all
over ourselves trying to get in.
Peace. Brother Ralphie for
