1/3 (A Personal Letter to a Friend)

-->
 Dennis:

I was listening to MSNBC last evening.  I think it was the “Ed Show” that I was watching that he had Martha Plimpton of “Raising Hope” fame and the leader of NOW talk about women’s rights.  I think it was Martha Plimpton who said that 1/3 of American women WILL have abortions.  I wasn’t sure I heard right and the 1/3 figure seem to stick.  I thought about making a post on Facebook in regard to this figure, but then I thought about making a series of posts as to why I think we have finally reached the “end.”  You said I can’t call women who have abortions murderers, but it’s what I have already done.  If rapists are murderers by virtue of the women they rape as having abortions, then this means that women who have abortions otherwise ARE murderers.  In other words, women who have abortions are equal in God’s eyes to rapists whose victims have abortions.  Then there is the issue of gun ownership.  My thinking is that we simply arm the world to the hilt and then give instructions to EVERYONE who owns a gun that if they kill ANYONE with it for ANY reason, they become murderers.

Now, the problem I have with the Church is that the Church believes that women who have had abortions ARE forgiven if they repent of their sins.  And the same thing is true of murderers who repent.  This is why I wonder how Nineveh was “saved.”  If people who take human life are condemned already, there CAN BE NO salvation for them and then it no longer mattes what they do, because they have already LOST their salvation.  It matters not if they take one life or many.  It doesn’t matter if they commit suicide.  So, the sinning, the Church would argue, would be the same sinning that went on prior to the flood and the same sinning of Sodom and Gomorrah.  The Church would argue those sins WERE sexual just as the sins are today.  But I would argue that the sins were sins of violence, murder, and mayhem.  In fact, I would argue that sex had very little to do with these cities and the flood, except that sexual sins are a reason why ANYONE would take the life of another.  And if one reads either the Koran or the Old Testament, one will read many laws that state why a person should be put to death.  In fact, both the Muslims and the Jews base the legitimacy of their religions on the death penalties imposed on those who commit certain sins and many of these sins ARE sexual in nature.  Christianity is based on the teachings of the Apostle Paul and the other New Testament writers that the Church would argue couldn’t decide if they were either Jews living the Old Testament Law or Christians living under Grace.  And I would argue that the Grace of God allows for no one to punish another for ANY sin of ANY kind.  It is hubris to say that this nation is a Christian nation when in fact our laws do NOT allow for Grace of ANY kind.  This is why there is no Grace in Law.

I can point to verses that would justify what I am saying.  Isaiah says that swords will be turned into plowshares.  Jesus says, “Woe to them with child in those days.”  I think he was referring to the women of the Free World and China who are having abortions now.  And further, I see the pollution of China as setting the standard for the world.  We say we can’t compete with China if we have the rules and regulations and China does not have ANY rules.  The Bible says that 1/3 of the water on this earth will turn to wormwood.

I could go on and on about what I see in the world today.  I could accurately guess that at least one half of all adult women in China have had abortions.  In fact, Chinese women think nothing of having abortions, because they are allowed by the CCP to have ONLY ONE child.  The CCP says it is gradually rescinding this law, but too, there is no evidence this is happening.  I don’t know that ALL adult women in China have ALL have abortions.  This means that at any given time about 50 million US women have had or will have abortions.  “Woe to them who are with child in those days.”

Is there hope?  Yeah.  There is hope.  And I say, “There IS HOPE!”  Today’s date is 10-11-12.  For those interested in numbers there will be a 12-12-12 of this year.  I was born on 9-9 and I have had a lot of nine’s to celebrate my birthday as of late.  But for me, 9-9-1999 was the last big one.  Perhaps more importantly is the date December 21, 2012.  Now, is God going to remove ALL women from this world who have had abortions who have NOT been raped?  And will ALL those who HAVE taken a human life be removed as well?  Is this going to happen on or before December 21?  Is THIS what the Mayan’s knew?  Or is it coincidental that this date coincides with the earth moving through the plane of the Milky Way?  I don’t know the answers to ANY of these questions.  It’s just that I believe if there was a universal flood in the days of Noah that the sins of the world were the sins of murder, violence, and mayhem.  I think it IS as it was in the days of Noah.  I think the sins of Sodom and Gomorrah were the same sins and that the sins of these cites were NOT sexual sins as many would suggest.  We live in a violent world as evidenced by the proliferation of weapons of ALL kinds.  The world is ful of murder, violence and mayhem.  It IS as it was in the days of Noah.  But this time, our HOPE is for the return of the Prince of Peace to this world and bring about a NEW world of Peace.  I believe it is our ONLY HOPE!  Peace,

Brother Ralphie for The Angel of Life Institute
