Avoiding a Knee-Jerk Reaction

It's ALL coming together now. I wrote a rather depressing blog yesterday about the ills of this world and how these ills are ALL indicative of God's divine intervention by sending the Messiah to cure the ills of this world that we are unable to cure ourselves. I could have added that climate change is having a crazy affect on weather all over the globe. And I could have suggested that the first resignation of a Pope is over 600 years is another indicator. Our own country is now facing another fiscal cliff with sequestration taking place in just a few days. Pundits and economists are ALL making dire predictions about what this means for our country and perhaps all over the globe. The elections in Italy have even had a marked affect on our own stock market yesterday. I could say that the meteor that did so much damage in Russia COULD be another sign.

However, instead of marking one event, I would say there is NOTHING that is a singular event that would indicate the Second Coming. I would suggest that EVERY event in this world is tied to ALL other events occurring at the same time. No singular event is independent of ALL the others. God is simply using ALL these events to indicate to all who are paying attention that the coming of His Son is near. We ARE living in the last days before the Messiah comes.

I have insisted that ALL the events of the book of Revelation have been fulfilled and the ONLY prophecy that remains IS Armageddon. And I say this "Great Battle" as I call it has already begun. The events are unfolding right before our very eyes. Some will see these events as precursors or predictors of the Second Coming and some will just simply suggest these events are simply the times in which we are living. I am one of those who will say not one of these events is separate from the others. EVERY single event is part of the whole that when seen together are all God's way of saying to us who are watching that the Messiah is VERY near. This is what I believe. And I say to all who read this that the ONLY ones who have anything to fear are those who have purposely taken a human life. Otherwise, these events are NOT bad news, but Good News that the Messiah is near. Peace. Brother Ralphie
